I am starting this new blog because I figured that my life is just too fascinating for anyone to miss it! 😉
Seriously though, I feel like I have a lot to say and a lot to write about, and until now the main constraint was time. Actually time is still the main constraint. So much to do, so little time!
Musicians today need to do pretty much everything by themselves. From writing the music, practicing, arranging parts, setting rehearsals, managing the band, recording, booking gigs, touring, video, audio, and the list goes on to infinity – I kid you not.
(Not like major mainstream popstars – they have the abilities to hire someone to do all of that for them. Especially the practicing part).
Having said that, keeping in touch with my followers, sharing with them and the world my thoughts, plans, projects and needless to say music, is also very important for me – and I feel like I don’t do that enough. To me a blog is a good way to do that, in addition to my social media outlets (see above). It’s also a good way to stay in touch with Google 😉
I am going to post quite a bit soon, as I have recently finished the construction of my new home studio, which is meant precisely for the purpose of moving things forward, being able to write, record, produce and release independently from home and get more music done.
